iQuQ is a social music platform built for iOS that gives every person in a shared space an equal voice in what plays next. The app was built to solve a problem every person has experienced at a gathering where one person controls the music and everyone else lives with their choices. iQuQ changes that entirely Participants scan a QR code, join a live session, add songs from the Apple Music catalog, and vote in real time. The queue shifts dynamically based on collective votes. The most voted song moves to the top. The host retains override control without the room ever feeling it The build required real-time session synchronisation across multiple connected devices simultaneously, a voting integrity layer that prevents any single participant from gaming the queue, and Apple Music integration through MusicKit which is not a straightforward implementation. All three components had to function together without friction in a live environment with real people Junkies Coder led the complete mobile app development for iQuQ, covering architecture, UI/UX design, backend development, real-time infrastructure, third party integrations, and App Store submission on iOS. The app is live and performing exactly as it was designed to in real shared spaces.
