Product design company for complex, data-dense, regulated SaaS and enterprise software.
About company
Hue & Machine is a product design company for SaaS and enterprise software, specializing in UX audits, accessibility compliance, and data-dense product design. We work with product and engineering teams at companies including Microsoft, DoorDash, and Stanford on interfaces where a design decision carries financial, safety, or regulatory weight — trading platforms, clinical dashboards, security consoles, and enterprise systems.
We design complex software that people depend on. KYC onboarding flows a compliance officer can defend, trading dashboards a portfolio manager reads in seconds, clinical platforms a nurse trusts during a shift, and government contracting tools that make federal data usable for people who aren't data analysts.
Five practices, one team: Consulting (discovery, UX research, design strategy), Audit (UX audits, accessibility, ADA and EAA compliance), Product (end-to-end design, modernization, design systems, AI interfaces, dashboards), Brand (websites, identity, positioning), and Operations (design retainers, ongoing support). Most engagements start with a fixed-scope Product Audit and expand from there.
Every project is led by a designer who owns the outcome end to end. We run every engagement on the same arc: Baseline, Move, Prove. We measure the metrics before we design, move them with the work, and report the delta.
Headquartered in London, with client partnerships in New York. Founded in 2020. 300+ products across fintech, healthtech, enterprise, cybersecurity, and proptech.
