Droid Technologies is a full-cycle European hardware design company based in Ukraine. We deliver electronic product design services and take embedded systems from concept to production. Since 2016, we have completed 150+ projects for medical, industrial, consumer, telecom, automotive, and IoT products. Our clients come from Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, France, the UK, Australia, Japan, and the USA. We work under an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified quality management system. Our public client list includes Rand McNally, Dukane, Linx Printing Technologies, InnovationLab, Polarium, CONTROLLINO, and Cisco.
Full-Stack Services & Expertise:
- Hardware Design Services:
As a PCB design company, we cover the full scope of PCB design services. This includes schematic design, PCB design and layout, and multilayer PCB design. SI/PI optimization, prototyping, and EMC/EMI pre-compliance checks are also part of the scope.
- Firmware Development & Embedded Software Services:
Our embedded firmware development services cover C/C++ for MCU- and processor-based systems. Typical tasks include RTOS firmware, embedded Linux development, Linux driver development, and low-level programming. Code for safety-critical systems follows MISRA C.
- Mechanical Design Services:
The mechanical team takes care of industrial design, enclosure design, and thermal analysis. Material selection for plastic and metal parts and preparation for 3D printing or injection molding are included as well.
- Embedded UI/UX & HMI Development:
Devices with displays get embedded GUI and HMI development services from the same team. This includes embedded UI/UX design with LVGL and TouchGFX, as well as medical device UI/UX design.
- Mobile & Desktop Software:
IoT companion apps are cross-platform applications with BLE and cloud integration for device control. Desktop software, in turn, controls devices and runs production tools over USB or Ethernet.
- QA & Production Support:
Testing covers individual functions, full systems, and verification, with technical documentation that meets ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements. The team also runs pre-certification tests to prepare products for CE, FCC, and UL.
