Operations began in 1999 with Blacklands Railroad headquartered in Sulphur Springs, TX (East of Dallas/Fort Worth). With just a few hundred rail cars per year, our vision was to provide excellent customer service in all aspects of our business and we have grown to move thousands of rail cars. We offer railcar and locomotive repair, railcar storage, and through our subsidiary Black Gold Terminals, a premier transload service that provides customers with on-demand switching, loading, and unloading.
